Two people have been arrested after drugs worth an estimated €690,000 were seized in Co Meath. The herbal cannabis, ecstasy tablets, cocaine and diamorphone was found during a search of a house at Tailteann Drive, Navan.

The search was carried out last night by the Meath Divisional Drugs Unit, Navan Detective Unit and the Regional Armed Support Unit.

A man in his early 50s and a woman in her late 30s were arrested and were taken to Kells Garda Station for questioning.
