This week, Nurses are set to strike for another three days.

The strikes are set to commence after an attempt to resolve issues in The Labour Court early this morning.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is due to hold three consecutive days of strike from Tuesday to Thursday.

The Labour Court is due to decide whether to formally intervene in the dispute, which has already seen three 24-hour strikes

If The Labour Court decides to intervene it is likely that there would be a hearing later today with the hope that they could issue a rapid recommendation.
