The Department of Transport in the UK has cancelled their contract that involved the use of extra ferries in the case of a no-deal Brexit.

Seabourne was awarded a 13 million pound contract despit never owning any ships or running a ferry service.

One of Seabourne’s backers “Arcklow Shipping” withdrew from the deal causing the government to cancel the order. Seabourne would be unable to meet the contractual requirements according to UK’s Department of Transport.
