Operations suspended at Dublin Airport as plane is disabled on runway

Flight operations were suspended at Dublin Airport on Tuesday afternoon after a plane was disabled on a runway at the airport shortly after landing.

In a post on its Twitter account, Dublin Airport said that flight operations were expected to be affected for approximately half an hour as a result of the incident and apologised to passengers whose travel plans had been affected.

The main runway was then re-opened at approximately 2:30pm.
