Theresa May calls off Dublin visit following ongoing issues in Westminster

MPs in Prime Minister Theresa May’s Conservative Party have triggered a vote of no confidence in her leadership.

Speaking outside Downing Street this morning, Mrs May said she will contest the vote with “everything I’veĀ got”.

May was due to meet with An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar today to further discuss Brexit. However in light of this confidence vote May has cancelled the trip to face more pressing issues.
