Dublin could have a new six-line metro system in place by 2025

A new plan suggests that Dublin’s proposed Metro line will have six new stops by 2025.

The lines would run from Ashbourne, Swords, Donaghmede, Rathfarnham, Blanchardstown and Adamstown.

The new plan contains 19 major hubs which would link up with Luas, Dart and Dublin Bus. Dublin Metro CEO Jedd Van Der Poll says the project would be funded by private investment and is apparently based on a model used in Madrid.
