Orange weather warnings issued by Met Eireann. Wednesday should bring heavy rain, strong winds and gusts up to 130 km/h.
Two orange weather warnings were issued ahead of Storm Diana which is expected to hit the country on Wednesday. The south and the southwest of the country will be at risk of coastal flooding. Cork, Kerry and Waterford recieived an orange wind warning between 6am and midday. Wexford, Galway and Clare’s wind warning is from 9am until 2pm. The whole country’s weather warning is from 5am until 4pm.
