WW1 monument in Dublin vandalised


A WW1 monument in ST. Stephens Green was vandalised with red paint.

The six-metre high statue was installed earlier this month to commemorate the end of World War 1. Josepha Madigan (Minister of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht stated that “there is no bravery in throwing paint at a statue in the middle of the night”. She also added that it will be cleaned up today.
