Theresa May accused of “breaking promises” according to DUP leaders

Members of the DUP party accused May of breaking promises over avoiding the hard border between Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland.

This is not good for May as she relies on DUP votes since she is not have a majority vote in the House of Commons. It is the border between Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland that stands as a huge obstacle for the wider deal as the UK and the EU settle their future relationship. Theresa May is not keeping to her word on Brexit and are gradually losing support for may with Arlene Foster (DUP leader) stating that “I believe that not only would we not be able to support what she has sent to us but that there are many others that wouldn’t be able to support it in her own party as well.”
