More than 1,000 people missing in California fires


Recovery teams are trying to find clues into the fate of over 1,000 people who went missing in the wildfires of California.

The remains of 71 people have been recovered. As well as the death toll there has been huge damage done to property as over 12,000 homes have been destroyed making this California’s worst wildfire to date. Cadaver dogs are being used by investigation teams to help them find something that contains human DNA.
