Kildare murder could be linked to Hutch-Kinahan feud


Garda are investigating the murder of Clive Staunton(50) in Kildare believed to be linked to the Hutch-Kinahan feud.

Clive Staunton had lived with his family at Glen Easton Way in Leixlip for more than 20 years

He was shot dead near his home following a football match in the Aviva, Gardaí stated that it was a targeted assassination where Mr. Staunton was shot at least three times and shot again after exiting the vehicle. Two cars were found burnt in Manor Kilbride, Co Wicklow where Garda are investigating. Detectives stated that Mr. Staunton had some minor convictions but was never involved with criminality.
