Following the intense weather of storm Callum the remains of Hurricane Leslie are to hit Ireland this week.
150 kmh winds may hit in certain parts of the country. This may indicate the possibility of a red weather warning which can result in property damage, power disruptions and flying debris which poses a risk to life. Donegal, Mayo and Sligo are expected to receive heavy amounts of rain ranging from 25-50mm over the week while mountainous regions could potentially receive higher amounts, spot flooding is also a possibility. The majority of the week will predominantly consist of wet and windy weather throughout Ireland.
